Okay so probably no in this instance, but hey it’s the thought that counts, right? So I promise to put a picture up as soon as this thing will let me.
Now, let’s get down to business todays musing (or at least the first one) is about: MacBooks. I heart all my Mac products especially my MacBook (well and my nano named Henry.) But to the point. Anyone who has a white MacBook knows that it gets very dirty, particularly on the wristrest area (oils from your hands transfer onto the casing.) Now, if you are like me this drives you crazy and you want nothing more than to clean the damn thing, but you also don’t want to damage your “baby.” Well I spent some time looking around and scouting what braver souls than I have done to solve this horrible problem and I’ve come across the miracle solution:
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (the original kind, not the combo.) It’s amazing and truely lives up to its name; it took the stains right off in seconds. Just don’t add too much water and I made sure to wipe off the water with a kleenex before the water dried. I used it all over my Mac, the only place I suggest you not try and use it is on the keys, I noticed some fading on the page up and down keys (this could have been from use, but I had never noticed it before.)
Alright now for all of those who came not for Mac tips (because really I think that’s the only one I have), I’m trying to figure out whatelse to muse about. A little more about me, maybe *shrug*. I will be living in Bloomington with my best friend this summer, which we are both very excited about and since summers are a time for every good college student to reinvent themselves I see no reason to break with tradition. So a list of things I wish to accomplish during the summer:
1. Buy local (whenever possible.)
2. Work out, hopefully at least 5 times a week.
3. Find and snag the coolest job I possibly can.
4. Spend as much time with my friends as possible (we are all growing up and becoming “adults” too fast.)
5. Rent and Watch at least 2 indie/documentary (ie. snooty) DVDs a week.
6. Read and FINISH all the books that I have bought, then after those are all read, read more books.
7. If I must watch TV watch “smart” TV (The History Channel, et. al.)
8. Listen to more NPR, listen to NPR during work outs.
9. Become more informed (read more newspapers, magazines.)
10. Try and pick a candidate and possible work at the district/local campaign office.
11. Be as “Green” as I can.
12. Learn about wine.
13. Learn to cook, hopefully, well.
More to come (maybe) but first I’m going to work on the list I have.
