The answer is that he is a stuntman. Those of you who went to see “Grindhouse” would know the answer, but from my understanding not many people did see the 3 + hour movie. I, however, did. I thought that it was a good flick, all be it a long one.
For those of you who either 1.) did not see the movie, or 2.) have not heard of it, the movie consists of two feature films and numerous trailers for films (that will never actually come out.) The films (the two features directed by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez) pay homage to 1960s and 1970s horror movies and did not fair well at the US box offices.
So Tarantino has come up with a plan, he’s reworked his feature into a full length film and has entered it into the Cannes Film Festival. The reworked “Death Proof” features a lap dance scene that all the males in the audiences missed, I’m sure (the groans helped me jump to that conclusion.)
Now, I’m not sure how well these movies are going to do in the US since most people who were going to see them actually stuck out the 3+ hours to actually see “Grindhouse” but maybe they’ll do better. I guess we’ll all just have to wait and see.
