Most people don’t think green when it comes to wedding dresses, or weddings in general, but that’s change now. More couples are opting for a green (eco-friendly) wedding. Brides are choosing dresses that can be worn again, having guests car pool, and picking outdoor locations for key wedding locations. Couples are even choosing to serve organic, locally grown fare at their receptions.
A green wedding can be a great opportunity to invite your friends and family to help you give back as well, many couples are setting up donations to their favorite charity so guests don’t have to waste paper wrapping up presents.
There are many ways to make your wedding more eco-friendly. Even simple things like choosing a location that is closer to most of your guests, cutting back on driving and flying time cuts back on the smog you create.
I think a green wedding is a great idea. I never considered going green at my wedding (if I ever get married, people are still taking bets) but now I would totally green it up. It’s is easy being green, or at least getting there.
The article (Yes it’s The Enquirer, but in my defense I found it on Huffington, and it’s AP.)
I think going green is important too, but I don’t want to share my dress.
Great idea to skip the presents (and paper to wrap them). Who needs another toaster anyway.
