I use to joke that I was afraid of squirrels. I even made up some theory that squirrels were plotting to take over the world and it was only a matter of time until they attacked. Now, it was all in jest until something strange happened…I started to believe it. I was so convincing in my act that I made myself believe.
So now you know that I’m a little frightened of squirrels (and a little on the nutty side..it’s true I’ll admit it.) It seems thought that I might be right to be a little afraid of the scary rodents. A squirrel in Germany decided to go on a rampage.
This squirrel ran into a home and attacked a 70-year-old woman biting her on the hand, with the squirrel attached to her hand she ran into the street and managed to shake the squirrel off her. The squirrel then ran into a construction site and attacked a construction worker biting him on the hand and arm.
The squirrel was not finished though, the squirrel ran into the garden of a 72-year-old man. The man was bitten on his hand, arms, and thigh. The man then killed the squirrel with his crutch.
Experts think that the attack could have been linked to mating season or the squirrel could have been ill.
